Open Source for Accessibility and Inclusivity - Pledge

Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿฝ I am Julia and for the second time I am a maintainer at this years Hacktoberfest 2023. My main project is all about accessibility, in its creation and what it is going to be about.

My aim for Hacktoberfest and open source in general is to make it inclusive for everyone, no matter their abilities, to be part of the open source community and contribute to a project they like and enjoy.

Who I am looking for to collaborate on my projects are people with disabilities, women, career switchers in their 30+ who want to participate in open source and are often not (too) confident to participate.

Let's create a warm and welcoming community.

Community

The most important aspect of Hacktoberfest and my Open Source projects is building as a community. I want my contributors to feel included and welcomed, no matter how far they are in their coding learning journey, their abilities, and such.

I would like to promote pair programming, which would give experienced developers give the chance to mentor newbies and newbies the chance to learn something new in a professional environment.

Open issues for pair-programming:
